Excessive drivetrain movement is a common issue with longitudinal Audis. We've addressed this inherent problem and created this simple yet unique solution by incorporating a 90a durometer polyurethane insert. The insert when coupled with our machined billet baseplate work to take up the slack and the slop in your transmission. The result is a significantly more connected feeling and greatly improved shifting. You'll be able to feel more power transferred to the ground and greatly reduced wheel hop.

Why Polyurethane and Not Solid Aluminum?
The decision to use polyurethane over billet aluminum is simple. By using polyurethane we are able to carefully dial in the density that works best for providing the optimum performance, while decreasing NVH (noise vibration and harshness). We are making a specific and conscious decision about the hardness of the product and we are able to choose from a wide range of densities, vs. just being stuck with properties of the manufacturing limitation that comes from using billet aluminum as a 'bushing' material.
In other words, companies that choose to use billet mounts often do so because they do not have the capability to produce polyurethane and it is less of a choice and more a necessity due to being limited in what their production capabilities are.
