ECS Tuning's leading R&D team has put in countless hours to engineer the best shifter for the B8/B8.5 chassis in the world! Keeping in mind that not everyone wants the shortest possible throw, ECS has implemented four settings of throw adjustment, providing up to a 43% reduction from the factory. Additionally, ECS has integrated a feature that allows you to independently adjust the height of your shift knob, ranging from factory to 75mm lower. The ECS Short Shifter allows you to fine tune and personalize the shifter to your liking for the best overall shifting experience.
ECS Tuning's Adjustable Short Throw Shifter is mainly constructed of billet 6061-T6 aluminum for structural strength and weight savings, a 304 stainless steel shaft designed to retain use of your OE shift knob, mated with a maintenance-free 440c stainless steel and self lubricating bearing. The shifter plates secured at the base are produced of nylatron, a material that offers a friction level 2.7 times lower in comparison to brass, offering superior wear and noise resistance that makes it an ideal material for slide plate applications to extend part life. ECS Tuning's Adjustable Short Throw Shifters are engineered, manufactured, and assembled in the USA. You won't find a better combination on the market.
